1. Where do friends & family park during the event and at Closing Ceremonies? Parking will be available at Lake Sullivan Sports Complex. Click here for directions. Parking is subject to availability and fees may apply. At Camp, due to space limitations and traffic control, we do not have visitor parking available. Friends and family will need to find street parking in the area.
2. What if it rains, do we still walk? We will walk rain or shine. In fact, the event will continue in all situations provided that it is safe to do so.
3. Should I check-in online? Yes, we encourage you to take advantage of online check-in. Watch the safety video, sign up for delayed self-pledge, and select your tentmate in the comfort of your own home. Sleep in on Saturday, avoid the last minute lines, and arrive Saturday morning by 7:00am.

4. Is there an All Crew Meeting on Friday? All Crew must attend the All Crew Meeting on Friday, September 25, 2009 at 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Lake Sullivan Sports Complex. Any Crew Member who has not completed the Online Check-In process must arrive at 5:00pm to do so prior to the All Crew Meeting.
5. What time do I need to arrive on Saturday? All participants should be at Opening Ceremonies no later than 7:00am, to allow time to have breakfast, drop off your luggage and be ready for Opening Ceremonies.
6. Is there transportation from the host hotel to Opening Ceremonies? Yes, one way host hotel shuttles will be available on Saturday. These shuttles will run from the Hyatt Regency Indianapolis to Open Ceremonies at 5:30am and 6:30am. Login into your participant center to RSVP. Shuttle service is $10 per person. You must reserve in advance and fares are paid in cash as you board. Please note that there is not a return shuttle service to the Hyatt on Sunday.
7. Can a Walker and Crew share the same tent? A Walker and Crew member can share a tent. However, the tent will be in the Crew section, and the Walker should be aware they may be woken up earlier as many of our Crew are up and working before the Walkers wake up. If a Walker and Crew are planning to share a tent, they will both need to go through the Tent assignment process together.
8. What time do we leave Camp and start walking on Sunday? On Sunday, Camp will open for Breakfast and showers at 5:30am. For those of you eager to get moving, the route will open at approximately 7:00am. For those of you who like to enjoy an extra cup of coffee before heading out on your way, Camp remains open until 8:00am.

There will be set Cheering Stations along the route on both Saturday and Sunday where your friends and family members are encouraged to come out and cheer you on. Check back soon to download and print the Cheering Stations Flyer and share it with all your friends.
10. When do Closing Ceremonies end? Closing Ceremonies will begin as the final Walkers finish the route (approximately 3:00pm) and will run for approximately 45 minutes. 11. Do I have to stay for Closing Ceremonies? Closing Ceremonies are a moving and emotional tribute to your triumph, and to the triumph of all those who were involved in The Weekend to End Breast Cancer. We encourage you to stay, and to take a moment to reflect on the amazing feat that you’ve just successfully completed. However, if you are unable to stay for Closing Ceremonies, you may pick up your luggage as soon as it is offloaded from the gear truck, and go home.
12. Where should friends and family stand at the finish to meet me? Your family and friends can meet you at Lake Sullivan Sports Complex.
13. Should I carry my extra shoes with me on the walk? We would suggest packing your extra shoes with all of your other gear which will be transported directly to Camp. This way, you will have a dry, fresh pair of shoes for the second day of the walk.
14. Can I get to the luggage I put on the Gear Truck during the day? The Gear Trucks will be packed up in the morning and go directly to Camp on Saturday, so you will not be able to access any of the gear you load onto the truck. It is important to carry with you the necessities that you will need throughout the day, such as an extra pair of socks, sunscreen and your cell phone.
15. What size blow-up mattress will fit in the tent? How big is a tent? The tents are 2-person, 7x7 ft, and will accommodate a double mattress easily. However, remember if you are sharing with someone you do not know, be considerate of their needs. As well, remember that there are no electrical outlets at Camp, so you will need either a manual pump or good lungs to blow up your mattress! Important: your gear weight limit is 30 lbs, so if your mattress is adding too much weight to your gear bag please leave it at home and bring a lighter foam mattress instead.
